Well written book, very clearly outlines the different aspects of being a forensic death investigator. I had to purchase this book for a course I took on Medicolegal death investigation. I didn't use the book often because the medical examiner's teaching the course gave us most of the information in powerpoints, but I plan to keep this book for future reference since I am now considering a career in forensic death investigation.
The book is a little outdated, since it was written awhile ago some of the forms of media it might discuss might not be as relevant but overall the book does a decent job discussing aspects of medicolegal death investigation. The book provides sample questions as well as glossaries with important terms that aided me for studying for my final.
Overall a decent book, but I wish there was a more updated version of the text.

I think this book is great, because it does not talk over your head. If you don't know all that much about medical terms, this book is for you.
